doodloop is a drawing app for iPad, iPhone and Android devices made by YSLabs ("we"). This policy explains what leaves your device and what does not.

doodloop is made for children and grown-ups to use together. A child can draw, save and watch a timelapse without anything leaving the device. Two things are behind a grown-up gate (a question a young child cannot answer): buying credits, and the first time a drawing is sent to make a loop.
When a loop is made (Loop, or Make it move in the timelapse): the white-background PNG of the drawing and a short text instruction are sent to our relay server (hosted on Netlify) and then to xAI (Grok Imagine, the video generation provider) to make that one clip. Before the first loop, a grown-up is asked to allow this, and the answer is kept on the device. We do not keep the image or the text; xAI processes them under its own policy (x.ai privacy policy).
With each loop request the app also sends its random install ID. The relay server keeps that ID, with the times of that device's recent requests, in its storage to limit how many loops one device can request per hour. If the app cannot keep an ID, the connection's IP address is used for the same count instead. The ID is not linked to a person and is not used for anything else.
Nothing is sent for drawing, saving, sharing or watching a timelapse.
Anyone can report a loop from inside the app. A report sends us: the loop's request ID and video link from xAI (when the app has them), the reason picked, the random install ID, the app version, the platform (iOS or Android) and the time. It never includes the drawing or the video. Reports are stored on our relay server only while we review them, and then deleted.
Credit packs are sold through Apple's In-App Purchase on iPad and iPhone, and through Google Play on Android. Apple or Google handles payment; we do not receive your payment details. Purchases are behind a grown-up gate.
Drawings, sketch underlays and timelapse frames stay on your device until you delete them: open Gallery, press and hold a drawing and choose Delete. Removing the app deletes all of them. The relay server passes the drawing PNG and the instruction straight through and stores no copy; xAI holds a temporary copy under its own policy. What the relay server does keep is the install ID and request times described above, and reports while they are reviewed. To ask us to delete these, email us.

루프를 요청할 때마다 앱은 무작위 설치 ID도 함께 보냅니다. 중계 서버는 기기 한 대가 한 시간에 요청할 수 있는 루프 수를 제한하려고, 그 ID와 그 기기의 최근 요청 시각을 저장소에 둡니다. 앱이 ID를 보관할 수 없으면 같은 계산에 접속 IP 주소를 대신 씁니다. 이 ID는 사람과 연결되지 않으며 다른 용도로 쓰지 않습니다.
그리기·저장·공유·타임랩스 보기에서는 아무것도 전송되지 않습니다.
누구나 앱 안에서 루프를 신고할 수 있습니다. 신고에는 루프의 요청 ID와 xAI 영상 링크(앱에 있을 때), 고른 이유, 무작위 설치 ID, 앱 버전, 플랫폼(iOS 또는 Android), 시각이 담깁니다. 그림이나 영상은 담기지 않습니다. 신고는 검토하는 동안만 중계 서버에 보관하고, 그 뒤 삭제합니다.
크레딧 묶음은 iPad·iPhone에서는 Apple 인앱 구입으로, Android에서는 Google Play로 판매됩니다. 결제는 Apple 또는 Google이 처리하며 우리는 결제 정보를 받지 않습니다. 구매는 보호자 확인 뒤에만 열립니다.
그림, 스케치 밑그림, 타임랩스 프레임은 삭제하기 전까지 기기에 남습니다. Gallery에서 그림을 길게 누르고 Delete를 고르면 지워지고, 앱을 삭제하면 전부 사라집니다. 중계 서버는 그림 PNG와 지시문을 그대로 전달할 뿐 사본을 저장하지 않으며, xAI는 자체 정책에 따라 임시 사본을 둡니다. 중계 서버에 남는 것은 위에서 설명한 설치 ID와 요청 시각, 그리고 검토 중인 신고입니다. 이것의 삭제를 원하시면 이메일로 알려 주세요.
